- Tyrrell, 50-Year Phoenix, is Dead
Isaac B. Tyrrell, a fifty-year active member of Phoenix Engine Company, died yesterday at his home, 57 East avenue, after a long illness. He was 77.
Mr. Tyrrell was born in Fallsburg, Sept. 11, 1875, a son of William and Cornelia Hendrickson Tyrrell. He had spent most of his life in Middletown where he was engaged in the trucking business.
Surviving are his wife, the former Mary Agnes Minelon; three daughters, Mrs. Cora Ayres of California, Miss Elisabeth Tyrrell of Middletown and Mrs. Mary Olmstead of Monticello; one son, Blake Tyrrell of Middletown; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services at Hasbrouck's Chapel will be conducted by the Rev. Herbert M. Barrall of Grace Episcopal Church. Interment will be in Wallkill Cemetery, Phillipsburg.
The Phoenix Engine Company will conduct services at the chapel Thursday evening.
