- Burton Alvin Bricker, 83, of Yale, died unexpectedly Monday February 2, 2009 in Peck.
He was born November 1, 1925 in Yale and had been a lifelong resident and homebuilder.
His marriage to Mary Hurd was May 14, 1949 in Yale.
Burton was a member of Trinity Missionary Church, Yale.
He enjoyed bowling with the senior league in Sandusky and spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife Mary of 59 years are a daughter and son-in-law, Christie and George Brown of Croswell, four grandchildren, Angie (Jason) Neal, Adam (Tara) Mager, Andy (Libby) Brown and Gregory (Vanessa) Brown; four great-grandchildren, Ella, Gracie, Blake and Evan; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and JoAnn of Yale and several nieces, nephews and friends.
His family honors the memory of Burton and invites you to visit and share Wednesday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Yale. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday with 10:00 a.m. visiting. Rev. Anthony Ferriell, pastor, of Trinity Missionary Church, Yale, and pastor Willard Williams, retired, will officiate.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Yale.
