- KIBBLE, Margaret Louise (Holman) May 7, 1922 - April 17, 2016 Passed away at age 93. Resident of Kitchener-Waterloo, Margaret was born and raised in Stratford and completed "Normal School" for teacher training following high school. Margaret started teaching primary grades in a one room country school house and finished teaching special education in Kitchener. Margaret was the middle child of three children born to the late Frederick and Dora Holman (Bowman) and was the beloved wife of the late Roy William Kibble for over 63 years. Margaret is survived by her sister Grace Schultz and is predeceased by her sister Helen Coulton (Tom) and brother-in-law Jim Schultz. Margaret was the mother of four children Jim (Penny) Kibble, David (Rosemary) Kibble, Kathy Kibble and John (Dawn) Kibble. Margaret was grandmother to Scott, Julia (Taylor), Gordon, Stephanie (Justin), Sarah (Harley), Bradley, Alicia, Cameron, Craig (Kyla), Jennifer and Zachary and great-grandmother to Brynnlee and Everlea. Margaret had a keen sense of humour, loved telling stories and jokes and often found herself at the centre of practical jokes. She was known as a teacher who loved and cared for her students and loved when some kept in touch. She had boxes of treasured memories to remember many of her teaching days. Since 2009, Margaret was a resident of the Court of Laurelwood in Waterloo and was well cared for by the staff there. Visitation will be at Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener on Saturday, April 23rd from 1:00 until 2:45 p.m. immediately followed by a 3 p.m. memorial service and reception.
